On November 5, 2025, at the JW Marriott Hotel & Suites Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City, VNCS CyberCon 25 concluded with resounding success, marking one of the most comprehensive and innovative cybersecurity conferences ever organized by VNCS.

 

Under the theme “VNCS’s Sticky Approach to Combating AI-Powered Threats,” the conference gathered over 160 participants, including government representatives, leaders from banks and enterprises, and international cybersecurity partners—representing a significant milestone in VNCS’s 14-year journey of innovation and growth.

 

 

The event proudly welcomed:

• Major General Le Minh Manh – Head of the Southern Chapter, National Cybersecurity Association; Former Deputy Director, Department of Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention (Ministry of Public Security);
• Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep – Head of the Cybersecurity Monitoring & Investigation Department, MB Bank;
• Along with distinguished representatives from Fortra, Splunk, OpenText, Invicti, Forescout, and numerous organizations and corporations in the technology and financial sectors.

Strategic Direction of VNCS in the AI Era

 

Opening the event, Mr. Khong Huy Hung – CEO of VNCS and Chairman of the Board of VNCS Global – expressed his gratitude to partners, clients, and collaborators who have supported VNCS throughout its 14-year journey.

 

 

He emphasized that VNCS CyberCon 25 was the most special event VNCS has ever held in Ho Chi Minh City, not only because of its scale but also for the strategic message it carried:

According to Mr. Hung, VNCS and VNCS Global will continue to pursue their DSD model – Distribution, Service, Development, combining global technology distribution, deep-level service delivery, and the development of “Make in Vietnam” cybersecurity platforms to bring sustainable value to enterprises and society.

 

Technical Sessions – Where Innovation Meets Reality

 

The conference’s technical session opened with a presentation by two solution engineers from Fortra – Mr. Raja Devendran and Mr. Chris Lee, who discussed defense techniques against AI-driven automated threats and showcased cutting-edge innovations from the Fortra security ecosystem.

 

Following that was the highlight of the event – the short film “One Day of a CIO: Back to the Secure Future,” exclusively produced by VNCS.

 

The film depicted the journey of a CIO confronting an AI-powered cyberattack and was paired with a live “Offensive & Defensive” demonstration by VNCS and VNCS Global experts, offering audiences an engaging, real-world view of the balance between attack and defense in modern security strategy.

 

 

Next, Mr. Clarence Ho – Senior Solution Consulting Lead at OpenText, delivered an insightful talk on “Decoding DevSecOps in the GenAI Era,” emphasizing how organizations can integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle to enhance resilience and compliance.

 

He was followed by Mr. Desmond Poh – Solutions Engineer at Splunk, who shared his perspective on “From Reactive to Proactive: How Splunk AI Redefines Cyber Defense,” demonstrating how data and AI-driven analytics empower real-time threat detection and incident response.

 

Concluding the session, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hiep – Head of Cybersecurity Monitoring & Investigation at MB Bank, shared practical insights from MB’s cybersecurity journey, highlighting VNCS’s vital role as a trusted partner in helping the bank build a proactive, resilient, and adaptable security posture against modern threats.

 

 

In his address, Major General Le Minh Manh commended VNCS and VNCS Global for their forward-looking vision and early adoption of AI-driven defense strategies.

 

He noted that as artificial intelligence becomes both a tool and a threat, traditional cybersecurity approaches are no longer sufficient. VNCS stands out for its integration of technology, processes, and people—developing a comprehensive security ecosystem that includes localized solutions such as VSIEM and VSOAR, alongside internationally recognized services like SOC, Threat Intelligence, and Pentest. These capabilities enable organizations to build multi-layered, intelligent, and adaptive defenses against evolving cyber threats.
