On November 21, 2024, the "Vietnam Information Security Day 2024" conference and exhibition, themed "Information Security for National Data Infrastructure and Digital Platforms," was held at the Melia Hotel in Hanoi.

 

The program, co-organized by the Vietnam Information Security Association (VNISA) and the Authority of Information Security under the Ministry of Information and Communications, is a significant national forum and the most prominent event of the year on cybersecurity in Vietnam. The event drew substantial attention from both domestic and international cybersecurity communities. Notably, it featured the participation of leaders from various ministries, sectors, local authorities, IT and cybersecurity units, state corporations, associations, universities, banks, financial institutions, and cybersecurity enterprises.

 

One of the highlights of the plenary session was a panel discussion titled "Preventing Data Loss and Online Fraud," moderated by Mr. Khổng Huy Hùng, CEO of VNCS and Vice President of VNISA. With extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, Mr. Hùng offered new perspectives and practical solutions to address the challenges of security in the digital era.
