VNCS officially joins the National Cybersecurity Incident Response and Recovery Alliance.

On January 18, 2025, at the National Cybersecurity Association's Year-End Review and 2025 Task Implementation Conference, the decision to establish the National Cybersecurity Incident Response and Recovery Alliance was announced. The ceremony was witnessed by General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security, and President of the Association, and Major General Nguyen Minh Chinh, Director of the Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department of the Ministry of Public Security, and Vice Chairman of the Association.
- About the Alliance and Its Mission to Protect National Cyberspace:
The National Cybersecurity Incident Response and Recovery Alliance was established to address the urgent need to protect the country's critical information systems from increasingly sophisticated threats. Under the coordination of the Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department – Ministry of Public Security, the Alliance plays a central role, ready to mobilize resources to respond promptly to cybersecurity incidents. It is equipped to handle urgent cybersecurity situations across the information systems of ministries, local authorities, key enterprises, and critical economic sectors, ensuring that the collection of data and electronic evidence complies with criminal procedural laws for prosecuting cybercrimes as stipulated by the law.

According to statistics, in 2024, the Cybersecurity Department coordinated the resolution of 27 major incidents occurring in critical information systems. These incidents received support from a team of experts from various agencies, organizations, and businesses in the industry.
2. Members of the Alliance:
Currently, the Alliance consists of 11 members, including:

02 specialized cybersecurity units:
- 86th Command – Ministry of National Defense
- Information Security Department – Ministry of Information and Communications

09 other members from businesses in the cybersecurity field, including:
- Vietnam Cyber Space Security Technology Corporation (VNCS), Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), FPT Corporation, CMC Cyber Security Limited Liability Company, Vietnam National Cybersecurity Technology Corporation (NCS), MISA Joint Stock Company, BKAV Cyber Security Joint Stock Company, SCS Cybersecurity Joint Stock Company, CyRadar Information Security Joint Stock Company.
VNCS is proud to be one of the participating units, committed to contributing resources and technological solutions to enhance the national cybersecurity defense capacity.
3. Expansion Direction and Adoption of International Models:
The Alliance operates on principles of voluntarism, equality, openness, and transparency, and is expected to expand in the near future, welcoming the participation of many other organizations and businesses.
Looking globally, successful incident response models such as CISA (USA) or ENISA (EU) have proven the effectiveness of a close collaboration between government agencies and the private sector. This will also be the strategic direction for the Alliance’s future development.

The establishment of the Alliance marks an important step in the journey of protecting national cybersecurity. With close cooperation among its members, the Alliance will play a central role in building a safe and trustworthy digital Vietnam, serving the country’s sustainable development.
