On June 25, 2020, Mr. Kong Huy Hung – CEO of VNCS, vice president of Vietnam Information Security Association VNISA, attended the ASEAN - JAPAN International Rehearsal 2020 program in Hanoi with the theme "Room against transnational cyberattacks”. The main purpose of the exercise is to build, operate and ensure a smooth interaction among ASEAN countries in sharing information on cyber safety incident response.

 

The ASEAN - Japan International Rehearsal is an annual event held since 2013. Especially in 2020, the rehearsal takes place in addition to offline form, but also online at 3 bridgeheads: Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi. Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang. The event had the participation of Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Hung and more than 200 members of the national network of information security incident response networks, IT units of ministries, agencies, central agencies, and provinces. /cities nationwide.

 

Attending the rehearsal, Mr. Hung had a presentation "Building standards for information security inspection and assessment service facilities in Vietnam". In it, he outlined the basic requirements for information security assessment services and recommendations for ministries and agencies.

He said: Vietnam's share in the total market capacity of APAC solution equipment market is only 1%; in the information security service market only 0.1%; The service of inspection and assessment of information security is not equal to half of Singapore's.
